Virtual Cooking Class: A Melting Pot

Sunday December 6th: Let’s Cook Creole Cuisine

1 h 30 min
20 US dollars

About the Experience

Ask someone what the first thing is that pops into their head when they think of New Orleans. Some may say jazz, others will say food, and for football fans, it’s the Saints. But whether you travel there to hear the music or catch a football game, there is absolutely no doubt that you will be treated to some of the best food in the United States. Cajun and Creole both define the cuisine of New Orleans. But what’s the difference? During this virtual cooking class, Chef Jennifer will answer that question while teaching participants how to prepare two classic dishes: Creole Shrimp and Sausage Jambalaya and Creole Bread Pudding. Throw on your favorite jazz album and let’s cook up something delicious! The class starts at 4:00 pm Pacific Time and runs for 90 minutes. Chef Jennifer will walk you through each step, explain culinary techniques, provide cooking tips, and throw in some fun food facts along the way. By the time you shut off your computer screen, a tasty two-course Sunday supper will be ready to serve.

Cancellation Policy

There are no refunds available for virtual classes, however if you are unable to attend, you can send someone else in your place.
