Sunday November 2: Polenta & Mushroom Ragu, Caramel Pear Pudding Cake
About the Experience
The mushroom foraging season is coming to a close. Once the temperatures drop and the first snows fall, we’ll have to wait until spring for the first mushrooms to emerge from the forest floor. Let’s celebrate this fleeting ingredient with a classic comfort food dish: Creamy Polenta with Mushroom Ragu. We’ll also have a special guest cooking along with us today. Joanne Stekler from Ugly Duckling Bakery will guide us through baking Pear Caramel Pudding Cake. During this 90-minute virtual cooking class, Chef Jennifer will walk you through each step and answer any questions along the way. She’ll also provide additional information about the cuisine and the ingredients. Once the meal is prepared, you’ll be ready to sit down for a delicious Sunday supper! Recipes and ingredient lists go out via email 5 to 7 days prior to class. Chef Jennifer makes every effort to stick with ingredients that participants should be able source at their local grocery store. In addition, no unusual kitchen equipment is necessary. All levels of experience are welcomed. Please note that virtual classes require a minimum of 4 reservations. Customers will be refunded if the registration minimum is not met within 5 days of the scheduled class.
Cancellation Policy
There are no refunds available for virtual classes, however if you are unable to attend, you can send someone else in your place.
