About the Experience
Chinese New Year kicks off on January 29th and culminates with the Lantern Festival on February 12th. To celebrate this holiday, we’re going to dish up some dumplings. Chef Jennifer will show you how to prepare the filling and the technique for folding wonton wrappers for dumplings that are not only delicious, but look beautiful as well. One holiday isn’t enough, though. For dessert, we’re going to get ready for National Carrot Cake Day by preparing Five Spice Carrot Cake. Main course: Cabbage and Mushroom Dumplings, Smashed Cucumber Salad Dessert: Five-Spice Carrot Cake How it Works: During this 90-minute virtual cooking class, we’ll prepare a two-course meal together. Chef Jennifer will walk you through each step and answer any questions along the way. She’ll also provide additional information about the cuisine and the ingredients. Once the meal is prepared, you’ll be ready to sit down for a delicious Sunday supper! Recipes and ingredient lists go out via email 5 to 7 days prior to class. Chef Jennifer makes every effort to stick with ingredients that participants should be able source at their local grocery store. In addition, no unusual kitchen equipment is necessary. All levels of experience are welcomed.

There are no refunds available for virtual classes, however if you are unable to attend, you can send someone else in your place.
