About the Experience
How many of you have a long list of places where you hope to travel someday?There are simply too many places and not enough time. The good news is that food is a passport to the world. Whether you visit a restaurant that specializes in your favorite ethnic cuisine or cook up those dishes in your own kitchen, food provides us with a connection to those far-off destinations. In this three-class series, we’re going to take a culinary journey to Eastern Europe, India, and Japan. During each class, you will be guided through a main course and dessert recipe in a step-by-step fashion. You’ll learn cooking techniques as well as detailed information about the ingredients and the culture behind the cuisines. First Stop - Eastern Europe: Sunday October 1st @ 4:00 pm Pacific Time * Main: Pan-Seared Salmon with Red Adjika (Red Chili Walnut Sauce) served with Georgian Green Beans * Dessert: Romanian Apple Caraway Cake Second Stop - India: Sunday November 5th @ 4:00 pm Pacific Time * Main: Aloo Gobi (Cauliflower and Potato Curry) with Basmati * Dessert: Pumpkin-Apricot Bread Final Stop - Japan and Hawaii Sunday December 3rd @ 4:00 pm Pacific Time * Main: Miso Ramen with Homemade Dashi Broth * Dessert: Mochi Cake What you get when you sign up: - Recipes and equipment list 5-7 days prior to class - 75 to 90 minutes of interactive cooking instruction with a professional chef - An awesome two-course meal that is ready to eat when class is over NOTE: When booking, you will receive a Zoom link for the first class. Chef Jennifer will email you separate links for the other two classes with the recipe and ingredient list.
Cancellation Policy
Clients who cancel at least 8 days prior to their scheduled class will receive a full refund or can opt to reschedule for a later date. Cancellations 2 - 7 days prior to the scheduled class will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 24 hours are not eligible for a refund.
