The second stop on our Silk Road tour takes us to Afghanistan, which marks the half-way point on the historical trading route. During this class, Chef Jennifer will guide participants through a main course and dessert recipe in a step-by-step fashion. Participants will learn cooking techniques as well as detailed information about the ingredients and the culture behind the cuisine. - Main course: Fasoolia (green bean curry) with Challow (rice with cardamom and cumin) - Dessert: Hasteh-ye Shirin (sesame brittle) This meal is both vegetarian and gluten-free.
